KVK Process

SALES: The first step in designing a control system is to determine a client’s needs. At KVK Inc. we focus on learning and understanding our client’s goals. We decide upon a solution that will best achieve those goals, considering the environment, whether it is an existing facility or a new one.

ENGINEERING/PROJECTMANAGERS: We then submit a proposal, providing pricing and details of our concept. Once an order has been received, a meeting is arranged to discuss the project and to ensure that all parties understand the objectives. At KVK, we believe in teamwork and we want you to consider us part of your team.

Most of our solutions require an industrial control panel. KVK Inc. maintains a UL-508 panel shop. We design the electrical schematics, order the necessary parts and supervise the control panel construction. Panels are inspected and thoroughly tested prior to leaving our facility.

We can provide a licensed electrical installation crew to mount field devices, run conduit and wire the electrical devices back to the control panel or panels.

On large projects, design engineers will make periodic visits to the job site to ensure that the installation is proceeding as planned. Once the wiring is complete, testing of all wiring and devices begins. Any mistakes or discrepancies are noted and quickly corrected. Once the wiring has been completely tested, a programmer will begin logic and functionality verification.

Functionality is tested under basic conditions, and then stress tested under extreme volume conditions.

We also provide onsite presence and assistance when the system is first put into operation. Generally, a thirty-day follow up visit is scheduled to ensure that the system is functioning properly and client expectations have been met.

Once the system is operational, support contracts are made available for subsequent service and support to ensure that your productivity remains at the highest possible level.
